NIGERIAN POLICE?; TUEH!!!!!!
NIGERIAN POLICE?; TUEH!!!!!!
I had gone to the market to get Tshirts for my customers, Corona virus is still out in full glory but A Babyboy has to survive because money will not fall from heaven and since it was an #allmanforhimselfSEASON! I did what I had to do; Take business Orders and deliveries. I left my house in Gbagada and i was off to get T-shirts at Ekรฒ market and deliver them at ojodu-Berger, Ha! See Waka-Waka! In this corona Era! Afi suuru. Getting to the bus park, I figured that the transportation fare had doubled by 3 and this wasn't what I planned for. I still entered the bus, My Egungun was not prepared and I was obviously approaching the express, Hmmmmn. I had no choice. I got to Ekรฒ market, walked and struggled to get to my customers shop and at the same time observe the Covid-19 safety/ precautionary measures. What was I? A joke lmaooo๐๐๐ I still tried to be very careful and cautious afterall they say "At all na In bad pass". I did my thing at Ekรฒ market, prices of my Goods were hiked as well so I withdrew more money, bought my market and left in peace. I got back to park to enter bus to my supposed delivery destination. "OJODU-BERGER! OJODU-BERGER!! ENTER WITH YOUR 500 naira! NO STORY" the driver kept shouting from afar! I moved closer hoping to believe I didn't hear 500, but boy was I wrong! 500๐ฅ๐๐๐ OJODU-BERGER that was usually 250-300 Naira had turn 500 naira! Because of what exactly? Miss RONA the bad Bitchhh?!!! GOD O๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฃ๐ฃ๐ฃ I stood there contemplating but I didn't have any option o, I had to enter, besides it was 2 per seat instead of 4 so it was quite understandable but this money haaaaaaaa.๐ฃ
We kicked off the journey to ojodu, 2 on a seat, everyone with their nose mask including the driver, we continued moving, A co-driver stopped the driver to ask him a few questions so the driver had to pull his Nose mask from his Nose to his beard to answer the other driver, he did that and we continued the journey, just 2 minutes after this, we saw 2 police officers who were probably waiting for nothing, they stopped us and flagged our bus down, opened the bus and entered without saying anything, everyone was surprised, we clearly did not know what was going on, before we could say JACK, One of them had REMOVED THE VEHICLE'S KEY! without saying anything, everything happened so fast and so strange! We Had to Ask ASAP "OGA WETIN HAPPEN?" the man didn't say anything, OGA WETIN HAPPEN?!! He replied- and said "Your driver no dey Wear Nose mask, E don break Rule, We are Seizing this vehicle and everyone is following us to our Base!" Pandemonium started in the bus, egbami? The driver Nose Mask was on his beard and he simply removed it because he wanted to speak to somebody but No o! Olopa don arrest all of us and E DON HAPPEN!
It was looking like a joke because we kept on Begging this police man that this guy wasn't violating any rule, he only pulled it down to talk to someone some minutes before they came, This Police Man didn't hear o, he started driving us to his base, we were all shouting at some point because he kept on entering strange corners till we got to MARINA, Even after that he continued cutting corners till We got to Mobolaji Anthony, He stopped the Bus at a semi-isolated street, the driver had become a passenger at this point because Oga Olopa had seized his vehicle. On getting to Semi-isolated street, the police man stopped, deflated the vehicles Tyres and told all of us to come down and find our way! Ha!!! Find our way bawo????! In the middle of nowhere? After collecting Money from us?. We started shouting and cursing out! The police then asked the driver for driver's license, driver no get, he asked for vehicle particulars, Driver didn't have, LOBATAN!!!!!!!
We didn't even know what to do and how to feel, we just stood there, the police man took the driver to the latter part of the street leaving us infront of the bus, in the later part of street they were plenty other policemen and women, apparently this street was like police Hide-out/jungle and it wasn't looking like there's any station here. 30 minutes later the police came back with the driver and told the driver give us our money back, i.e 500 naira each, driver said he doesn't have complete money because he had paid dues at the park, Ha! Ngwa, get us a bus because clearly, this bus was seized and this policemen weren't hearing anything, Driver called his park right infront of all of us, as he explained the situation over the phone indicating police had caught him, the other person on the conversation cut the call immediately! the driver called again, the park didn't pick, he called again and again, Number became switched off. His park sly'd him at the sound of Police, Omooo! we were clearly in trouble!
The policemen laughed and dragged him back into the latter part of the street because to him we were all jokers, as they dragged him back, the passengers cursed the policemen because they left us hanging in this very terrible Lagos sun, this is something they could have done where they met us and we would all have gone back to the park and get there in 7 minutes, now we were stucked in the middle of Nowhere in the hot sun, the other passengers in the sun were cursing out! Serious curses! One cele woman on her garment (sutanna) was cursing them with the sweat dripping from her body because this was sheer wickedness!!! A pregnant woman amongst us started crying because this wasn't how she planned her day, we couldn't even beg her because we were all tired and sad. The other women kept shouting and cursing out to the point that other police MEN in the hideout came out and THREATENED TO SHOOT ONE OF US IF WE DO NOT KEEP QUIET! SHOOT! You heard me o, SHOOT! He even cocked his gun infront our very eyes. We all kept quiet at this point because we didn't want to die afterall because this place was semi-isolated and nobody will know if anything happens to us.
45 minutes later, they released the driver and collected 10000 naira from him, 10k!!! After destroying his tyres and wasting our time, this all started because he didn't wear his NOSE MASK O, did I tell you they weren't on nosemask too? Lmaoooooo! This was something that could have been easily sorted out because the mask was on his beards not on his Nose, but they took us, brought us to the middle of Nowhere, destroyed his tyres, threatened to kill one of us, maltreated us and still collected such an Amount from the driver.
All I could do was shake my Head because they weren't even wearing the face mask and they arrested us for it, and did us dirty and even promised to shoot one of us.

The driver was wrong but the police weren't right as well, infact this was sheer display of animalistic behaviour at its PEAK!
This was yesterday experience and it happened at Lagos island.
Nigerian Police? They will embarrass you! Police is not your friend!!!!!!!
-----------------------
P.S : if your siblings are greedy, inhumane and selfish police officers I'd advise that you register yourself for Intense deliverance session at MFM prayer city because the amount of curses they have brought to you indirectly as a relative, it's only God in heaven that can deliver you!!!!
Have you faced police brutality?
Sars nko?

Hiya. Nigerian police. Throw all of them away dear ๐ฎ๐ฎ
ReplyDeleteThank God they didn't harm anyone o. Cos haa it will have been a different story.
This is really sad! The people who are supposed to protect us would rather kill us for their selfishness. I found this read interesting and opened my eyes to how terrible our security system is. Police has hideout? What’s the difference between them and a robber?
ReplyDeleteI would just reply this with a common simple sentence, sis. 'This is Nigeria'.
DeleteThis is really sad...our security system in Nigeria is really bad, plus the harassment.
ReplyDeleteWhich reminds me of 2 different occasions I was harassed by police officers.
This country sha... I'm not surprised
๐๐๐
ReplyDeleteI'm so so sorry y'all had to go through that kinda torture. Nigeria is shit. Absolute shit.
ReplyDeleteso funny Go deliver us
ReplyDeleteGod, this is outright wickedness ๐ญ
ReplyDeleteThe best part of the story is that u all came out unharmed.cause o heard on the news how they killed a 20 year old boy in jos and beat a woman mercilessly.
ReplyDeleteThe Nigerian police needs restructuring and not only in their outlook..
Orishorishi share..God help us
ReplyDeleteOrishirishi sha... God should help us
